Seriously where has the time gone. I have been in school for 4 years and at BYUI that means 3 semesters and one summer every year for four years. I decided to take off the spring semester this year because thier spring in our summer. And this momma needs a break. Good news I only have one more semester and one internship to go. Now estimated time of graduation is Spring 2019. At least it is still before Isabella.
Rob is hard at work and has moved offices 5 times in 2 years. Lots of growth and change at work. It is all good. He works for the government test agency RTC now for 9 years, I think. He doesn't like to talk about it much, not because he doesn't love it but because often he cannot say more than he does missile and ammunition defense testing.
Isabella is finishing up her second year in college academy and next year she is on campus for her college classes at UAH. EEK! But it is exciting. She got her drivers license in January and now our slave errand girl. But she loves the freedom. She has been fairly healthy, knock on wood and her remicade treatments seem to be going well. Although as I write this she is not feeling great and laying on the couch today. She just finished up her first year in high school soccer. She was team captain and even though they never one a game, during the last game they made their first score of the season. It was such an amazing to see that success for their team.
We met a family on Sunday whose daughter was diagnosed last week with UC and I was thinking about our feelings about that time and honestly it is hard to remember. But I am grateful that I blogged as much as I did because I am not good about journaling. I wish we had someone we could turn to to get information from and have that support. I hope as they get their feet under them that they will feel our support for them.
Cole is doing amazingly. He told me today that he wants to be a group player at swim and needs to participate more. WOW, what a change two years make. He is loving swim and loves his coach and team. He is in AGT, a magnet school which focuses on art, gifted and technology. This year Cole has learned to play the piano. He is also finishing his boy scouts. He was named a patrol officer last night.
Finally Gus, Gus has been in limbo. Doing great in school but not really anything else. He is finishing up cub scouts and this summer he will swim for summer swim team for our Chapman Cheetahs. He will be in 5th grade next year and he will finish at Chapman P-8. We love those teachers.
