Little bits {SHOUT OUTS}

A couple of weeks ago our daughter Isabella came home and mentioned that one of her professors asked if the class knew of any students who are good in math.  Izzy's friends pointed to her.  He then explained that if she could get a few of her friends together there were possibilities for them to tutor with a company that his wife worked for.  We'll that is exciting but with her schedule I did not hold out for it to happen.  Forward to a few days later.  She has an interview.  Forward a few days later they asked her to interview sooner.  She did and got the job.  She will be tutoring one day a week possibly two days if they need and it pays well and is super flexible.  We are so proud of her, we never asked her to work and I prefer her not to, but she wants to and this is a perfect thing.  So if your kiddos need a tutoring service

Now on to Cole.  We love our Cole.  We lovingly refer to him as the absent minded professor.  He wanted to follow i his sisters footsteps and attend CA but it wasn't meant to be.  He then got frustrated and was ready to be home schooled.  Well I will do what it takes but he and I butt heads and I worry that it would be for his best that I did this for him.  So we researched the other options and New Century came up and he went to an open house, talked to a few teachers and applied.  Then the government shutdown happened and if you don't live in Huntsville Alabama you may not know that our schools are run by the DoJ because of a desegregation law that has been on the state books forever.  So that meant a long delay of finding out who got in.  We heard on Monday that he was happily accepted to NC and he accepted.  Which means he will be going in the fall and he is supper excited and I am supper excited for him.

As for G, there really isn't any news.  He is thinking ahead and wants to apply to a couple of magnet schools which will happen in the next couple of weeks.  We are so proud of our kiddos.  We love them lots and when people say this time goes too fast.  It really does.
