So Isabella has lots happening right now and we just signed up for our second walk for CCFA. (Last year we raised the second most amount for our area.)

And so now we are raising money to find a cure. Did you know there is no cure for Crohns or Ulcerative Colitis which is the disease Isabella has. She will be on medicine the rest of her life because of it. CRAZY right?!

So be is home schooled this year but on Thursdays she goes to school to class for SPACE and last semester they invented something using recycling for their prototype and made a power point presentation. I can't even do that. Love it! Love this girl

{McWAYNE SCIENCE CENTER) Birmingham AL fall break part 2

So we found a choice hotel to stay at in Birmingham and went to the children's science center in Downtown Birmingham Saturday morning. Again it was amazing. Why did it take us so long to get there? Anyway we spent all day there again and went to an amazing hot dog grill across the street. Very retro. It's called Lyrics hot dogs and grill. YUMMY! In the basement of the science center they have a ray and shark petting tank. MY fave of the day. That and the lightning/electrical show!

{MOUNDVILLE AL} Native American Festival Fall break part 1

We headed south on Friday morning of fall break 2011 our goal was Moundville AL. WE ALL LOVED IT. So much to do so little time. We stayed 6 hours and did everything, I think. We wanted to spend the night and do stuff the next day BUT we didn't know that it was Alabama's homecoming weekend and could n't figure out why the Super 8 hotel rooms were $204 for a night. So we headed to Birmingham!

the walk was wonderful. Isabella's team was third overall in fund raising. Raising over $1000. She had a great time and we thank all those who supported, donated and walked with us. We are doing it again next year!

So we all camped this weekend although in different ways. It was the Daddy/daughter camp out with church so that is where Rob and B were and the boys were sad so I said they could camp in the family room. I slept on the couch and really the only one who slept in a tent that night was Cole. Gus slept on my bed. LUCKY!

Some times we just need a break, so this weekend we went to Nashville TN. They have a great Children museum and we decided to try a new place to eat...followed the GPS to a no-mans place and decided to park and walk to a place that looked good. We were downtown near the convention center. We found JACKS and it was amazing BBQ and we all ate til full for $20.

Great grandpa came to visit on his way south to Florida. He is a sun bird and lives in Michigan in the summer. This year he left a little early and came for a stay. We took him to the space and Rocket center and saw among other space things Sue the dino!

The wiener mobile came to Decatur Alabama one Saturday so we took the 45 minute drive there to get there minutes before a down pour started. It was super fun to see it and the kiddos had a blast.

Isabella and Cole started school August 8, 2011. Isabella fourth grade and Cole first. Gus is sad because it was not his day to start. Gus started school September 6, 2011.

So yes I know it is too cool for sunflowers around here and I must confess that if I hadn't had 546 pictures on my camera I would have had this done yesterday.(also a speedy computer would be great) And remember almost 100 of theses pictures are ones Gus took...he's so random.

{LIFE} UPDATE

So here it is. Yesterday we went back to her GPA(B's UC Dr) and they are fast tracking her off the steroids because she is doing well. Yeah, BUT that's what happened last time, so even though she is doing better I know the next time it happens we are going to do the third stage which includes blood work, possible hospital stays, etc. There is a slightly higher risk of cancer BUT in the long run it has been known to help those who are steroid Dependant. Which is what the Dr will classify her if she cannot stay in remission. Think Happy thoughts...repeat often!

Cole is AWESOME, he is the sweetest, smartest 6 year old I know. He is thriving in first grade and recieving high marks in everything. He also started karate, or a type of Korien marshall arts class and loves it! He also starts swimming on tuesday.

Gus is something else, what else do I need to say. He's busy, loves the dog more then us I think lately. He started prek two weeks ago and thursday he said I have to stay, they need me. Love him lots.

Final note: Rob is taking me to see Les Mis on Tuesday for our anniversary. Also this week he makes his final student loan payment! Yay us. He is still working on his masters though...another two years!

Me, not much, homeschooling Isabella, trying to keep up with everything else, running errands, etc and still able to hit the gym 3-5 days a week...yay me. Sorry no picture;)

{JUNE} Month in review

Summer activities...In the month of June at our local optimist park they do summer programs for the month of June and each class is FIVE DOLLARS and some are FREE! So the kiddos did; gymnastics, tennis, art, PE, every Tuesday and Thursday in the month...all those class were $15.00! SCORE!

So the Saturday we took Rob's Mom to the airport in Nashville we all took a road trip to the unknown country side of Tennessee. We found in COWAN TN a FREE train museum that the kiddos and Rob enjoyed...I love the sign below. Then we went to the diner down the road for lunch...we love this kind of stuff.

After that we drove to Winchester TN and this is their court house. I love it. It reminds me of the marvel comic books. In Winchester they have a Jail museum that was something crazy like $1 for adults and 50 cents for kiddos five and up and free for under five. It may have been less than that but I remember scrounging for all my change because we never carry cash.

Then we went on to fort Mill. The COOLEST PLACE EVER! They grind there own corn meal and flour and sell it to locals. We bought some and some blueberry jam, so yummy!

So the month of June has flown by and we've had lots happen. Some of which I'm sure I will never write about here, BUT this week we took some time off from gymnastics, tennis, PE, fit club and crafts to do family things at home. We've gone swimming at the Y, been to the movies, and did fourth of July T's at home.

UPDATE on {LIFE}

First, the last child from my womb just turned 3 (may 20th). REALLY, I still have issues with this realization.

Isabella just finished her 3rd grade year YESTERDAY, and we received a test that she took in the fall and she is in the 97th percentile in the STATE of ALABAMA. ALSO the Dr declared here in REMISSION last Monday and is fast tracking her off her steroids. YAY B!

Then there is this guy, what can I say...I LOVE HIM LOTS. He just finished Kindergarten YESTERDAY and I noticed that when I was speaking with his teacher...Cole is just a few inches shorted than her.(he just went through a growth spurt...I feel it won't be long before I am the shortest in this family:) He also can now spell his WHOLE LAST NAME...you try spelling Fratangelo with out making a mistake.

My final thought, I am thankful for friends, family, Heavenly Father for keeping us safe over the last month with the tornadoes, power outages, severe weather everywhere that freaks me out every time I see it and I cry for those lost, for the Mother who held on but that her babe was ripped from her arms and now they can't find the babe...

Atlanta {mini spring break} 2011

So we are off at 7:15 Wednesday morning so we can make our scheduled appointment(which we later found out when we got there, there was no worries)

The top of the Atlanta Temple is Moroni...Gus kept pointing and saying Moroni the whole time we were there. (click on the links if you'd like more information about this)

Original dedication was when Rob was 6 and Cole is 6 now. It was truly an amazing experience to have our whole family at the temple for the first time. We look forward to many more trips as a family when they are 12 and older!

After a few shots on the grounds we went to the bishops shore house to get pancakes and potatoes. Then off to our favorite pizza joint in Tucker GA...ENZO's PIZZA.

They have some yummy pizza and it's a great price and the two pizza's we bought fed our family of five for THREE meals. All for $30. We ate outside too, it was very nice!

That night we went to IKEA and I shopped with a budget but got everything I wanted. Sorry no pics of that ;)

So the next day We slept in late, meaning past 8AM at the Comfort Suites. Had a yummy breakfast of waffles and sausage and then went shopping at Trader Joes and the to the museum Tellus.http://www.tellusmuseum.org/(we get in FREE with out Space and Rocket Center membership!)

They also have dinosaurs, a house of the future today, a planetarium show, it was the best, you can dig for dino bones and mine for gems...WONDERFUL, I really think this is our favorite museum for our kiddos ages.

After all this we got home late Thursday night and we had a blast.

B update

So my our B has been sick, very sick at times. She lost 16 lbs in two months and was having terrible cramps and other things. The Dr did a Colonascopy and found that her whole colon was infected and ulcers where all over...I saw the pictures, it was everywhere. So the verdict, ulcerative colitis. Which is an infection of the colon which is chronic, means she will always have to deal with this in some form. Right now though we are giving her meds including steroids to help her get to remission. Yes they use those words, DISEASE, REMISSION, CHRONIC. Crazy how our girl was healthy during Christmas and now she has a chronic disease. Anyway she is feeling much better with the meds and should be in remission soon, knock on wood.

So I only have the last 31/2 years in pictures on my computer. Here are a few of my beautiful B...Every time it is a birthday of a child I have born of my body...I have nostalgia. Think back to that day or a few days leading up to it. This year it is no different. I remember the Doctor thinking early on that she was going to be big...I had ultrasounds often, just to keep track of that. Then we needed to schedule induction...a month or so early. Just in case but I think my Dr knew. So her due date was January 7th. We got the soonest date and that was January 2nd...all the babies that proceeded us got the December 31 date that Rob wanted...taxes you understand, right? Anyway I remember everything the last 36 hours...my last meal was at Chili's and I had south western egg rolls. Then we went to the hospital so they could start induction with a cervadil but the nurses refused to give me the meds to start induction because I have a history of asthma...so home we went. The next day we went in early and started petocin. At 8am they broke my water and at 11 am I was finally dilated to a four and doing well while Rob was timing me on his palm...remember those things. My Dad and brother cam in shortly there after caring balloons and wondering what they could do...nothing, what are you doing here, we didn't call, really they were just so excited to be Grandpa and Uncle but I was half naked and SOOO uncomfortable. and all they did while there was watch TV..Rob gently eased them out of the room. The contractions seemed to be stronger and I needed drugs do around 1PM the epidural came and I felt better but then the contractions stopped...the end no more. They turned the machines off and said we didn't want to go over 12 hours with my water broke so at 4 pm they scheduled me for an 8:30 c section...so at 9:13PM weighing in at 8lps 8 ounces Isabella Iola Naomi Fratangelo was born into this world, Bright, pink and big...on the day it snowed in the south and all the town of Columbia South Carolina shut down including government and non essential hospital employees. My dad and brother saw her and went home since it was snowing and there were no snow plows out (remember we live in the south). Remembering back I had the worst OR nurse and when she said 9 13 we thought that was her weight and she was so rude and then I kept saying don't you want to know her name...she never answered...then I got really drowsy and said did you give me something...the nurse said yes and then I woke up in recovery with a screaming girl next to me yelling for her mommy...she was a baby having a baby...so sad...so as soon as I could lift my tush we were out of there. The day Isabella was born the nesting center was open and our room was so large and we were the first to use it...it was lovely. Our night nurse was amazing and because of the weather she was our day nurse also. It took our family two days to get to see us because the south is not equipt to move an inch of snow. We were there four lovely days and then went home to find a small snow man at our door...

That is it basically except for a few privy things but I love being a mom and I know this is my special place and I was destined to be as my patriarchal blessing says "a mother in Zion" . I love my role and I love my children and my B has a special place because she is my girl and my first. So sorry for this long post but to end it all...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ISABELLA...I LOVE YOU FOREVER!

I feet that this is my favorite time of year and I'd love for Christmas to last all year...I love giving, especially this year for some reason...maybe because I can...I am thankful for Heavenly Father and in his Son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost...I think back on what has happened this year and I think of those, I've met, those I've reconnected with and those I've lost...it was all being overseen with love. Our Father in Heaven loves us so and he is so involved in our lives, sometimes he sits back and waits...what are we going to do...hmmm.

Next thing...so a friend from high school passed in August. I've blogged about it. You can take a look here. Anyway his brother Chad has had his moments and struggles...really who wouldn't after that, but I just read his blog post and it touched me...really commercials touch me...I feel that deeply about things...but I thought I would share this with you because it touched me so...

I think we need this season of Love all year, what do you think?

This was our fall break in a nutshell...really I wanted all these pictures but I didn't want over load and I still think that happened. I want everyone to know that we had a grand time and will be going again in a couple of years when G is a little older. Next time I'll take more pictures also I feel I missed out on lots of ship life. There was so much to do and not enough time in a day for it all ...here are our highlights...

I WON a spa facial...I loved it!
C LOVED camp the most!
B loved the pools the most!
and C LOVED Mommy the most...his last day he finally LOVED camp!
Food was amazing and my favorite was the sit down although it was hard with the kiddos...notice the lack of boys at the formal dinner...there was a reason!
I only gained two pounds all week, on average it is 2 pounds per day
Rob LOVED it! That was the kicker...would he? Wouldn't he?
Our room had a closet that turned into a changing room for the kiddos (B and C)
We had a wonderful steward who was always cleaning...they cleaned our room every morning, put the beds up and cleaned every night, put the beds down and great towel animals...sorry no pics, see I needed to take MORE!
I went on the best tour...it was a behind the scene and they were all Italian (captain, engineer and their crew)
Rob and I loved Camp for the kiddos
The kiddos swam with the dolphins, pictures to come on that.

So I guess that is about it. We left a day early and went to a great science museum the link is above and it was FREE...we love reciprocal! Our hotel was AMAZING and B got to play on the grand piano they have in the tower building. Our hotel is famous...clink on the link above. On the way home went to the Montgomery zoo for FREE yes again, reciprocal. Also stopped by the Temple in Birmingham...what a wonderful week!

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR COLE

So today Cole turned six years old...really! So a little more than six years ago we moved here to Huntsville from San Bruno CA with an almost three year old and a 13lb 6 week old. Heavenly Father knew we needed a calm, non fussy baby, and he was and he is still the easiest child I have. He sleeps the longest still. The first one to sleep and the last one to get up. I am so proud of my oldest boy, my most loving child. Cole is the most loving, sharing and caring. He has such a sweet spirit and is touched easily. He loves his family so much and always wants to show it. Although B and G don't always want to receive such lovely gifts. Cole loves his dog, Cena, but not so much that she can kiss him or snuggle with him...he says she hurts him because she sits on his feet alot and she weighs more then him...they are a husky pair! Cole loves Thomas the train and his new love is Star wars and small legos...those started at school I think. They have small legos. Cole is also my most messy child, if you don't catch him in time he will smear his face on his shoulder or even your shoulder. Sometimes I get notes home from school saying he was scolded for playing with his food and having it in his hair. When he tells me I'm sorry with is big blue eyed, blue glasses I melt bit also tell him he can't do that. Cole loves to play little games like tickle, and tell jokes. It is funny when he is not wearing his glasses (which is only at bed time and bath time) he says mommy I see two of you...poor guy but he LOVES HIS BLUE INDESTRUCTIBLE GLASSES and we love them to...for that great reason. He loves soccer and I think he'll make a great goalie one day...he has an awesome kick! Cole is not comfortable sharing a cup or trying new things. But he did step out of his comfort a few weeks ago and swim with the dauphins. He has the best imagination and can build anything with legos. He holds his pencil awkwards and says the other way feels weird. He doesn't color neatly but colors to get done. So this is a little about our once 10lb 1oz baby boy, Colie Olie we love you so much...it has been wonderful that Heavenly Father knew we needed you when we got you. Thank you for coming to our family and being ours forever!

How I'm feeling

I don't have the mood swings...yet, so that is good. Last week we Rob cleaned out the garage of most of the baby stuff, that was super hard. I had to leave the room a few times to go to my room and cry into my blanket so Rob wouldn't hear me.

You see I would have had a dozen kiddos if I hadn't had c sections, fear of the operating table or a hysterectomy. I haven't told many of my church friends because they have babies, new ones, or are pregnant. So just bear with me. I do want more children but every year that passes makes me a year older and am I too old now to try the adoption thing, something that Rob and I have been so passionate about and now it seems to have gone to the way side. Maybe that is why I'm so sad. I just want that baby so bad.

I remember, I see the numbers 9 11 and I think emergency. I still feel the panic, when I remember. I still remember what i was doing that morning, what I was wearing, panic, I remember the panic. When I was able to watch the coverage I cried for everyone. I still do. Because it is sad and it should be a sad thing and people should still be crying when they see those pictures or watch those videos. This is something I will never forget. I don't dwell on it but for this day I remember...always remember.

When I look at this photo I see Lady Liberty, she is tall, strong, and looks like she is ready to fight for what she is watching occurring to her great love, her country. That is all I want to say right now.

So it has been a whirl wind summer with several trips to the Doctor, changing Dr's and a trip to the ER. After all that was said and done...I had three options for getting my heavy bleeding under control. One, a D and C, two an oblation and three a hysterectomy...all had there chance of success and the last ending with a 100% success. I CHOOSE to get a hysterectomy. I was never overwhelmed or nervous about my decision, only peace about it the whole time and even now.

I have to tell you that every two weeks I'd start to feel sick and wonder will I bleed and drop clots that big again...what's wrong can they fix me? I was having hormone issues, plain and simple, nothing was physically wrong with my uterus, hormonally I just couldn't stop bleeding heavily and it only became worse after G.

So Friday morning very early I went in and had the outpatient procedure done. I never had surgery before, except for my three c-sections, so going under was new for me. At 7:15 am after the prep was done they gave me a sedative to calm me down as they wheeled me into the operating room. I kissed Rob goodbye and I was asked when I last had a vitamin and I never answered, they just made an estimated guess and we were off...I don't remember anything til I was in recovery when I kept asking to use the bathroom and they kept saying I had a catheter.(silly me) My mouth had never been so dry in my life and I think I didn't get over the meds til Saturday night as I was at home. During my one day stay, I stayed on the maternity floor, not the best for most women who have a hysterectomy. I remember a woman near my room had just delivered and her baby was crying...I was out and dreamed about holding another dear child in my arms and feeling there peach fuzz against my check(that is my favorite about new born babies). Then I woke up. I still was confined to the silly bed til 6pm because they wouldn't take out my catheter...I was itching to get out...at one point a little freaking out because of the affects of the drugs and unable to move...my bum was hurting. The carthiter came out we did a lap aroound the floor and I have to say I was disapointed the nursery shade was closed but walked back to my room.

Since this surgery was laperscopic I had an incision in my belly button, and one on either side of it. I found out I am allergic to hospital bandages and tape. So off came the bandages. The rest of the night I was in and out...I did finally get to eat 26 hours after my last meal and that did not settle well with me(you can imagine!) So we went to bed around 11 and the nurse came in shortly there after to take my vitals and told me that I had to have a patient care done by 5:30 am because that is as long as we are able to stay(23 hour out patient care) Rob and I laughed a bit and said ok and the nurse also let us know that we could sleep in but that patient care had to end by that time, no more meds etc. So 4:30 am rolled around and my kind nurse came in and gave me my final meds and asked if I needed anything, reminded me of my checkout time and left, now I was awake so I said lets go I can sleep at home. So we did.

I had all Saturday to sleep and do nothing. I'm not good at doing nothing and so I was doing little things without Rob noticing so I could do something til the kiddos came home...it took forever for them to come. But 8pm they were home and I was happy finally the anastasia had worn off and I was now in c section pain(that is how I described it to my Dr...when I asked pre-surgery he said it was a dull pain...I later informed him it was as painful as a c-section(my last c-section, which was more painful than the previous ones)...he giggled...but now he knows!

Now it is Monday night and Rob will be home the rest of the week...I'm going to go crazy not doing anything. today I did go on my first outing...to Lowes, we bought a new fan, and I did over do it but come on I don't know what I'm going to do with four more days under house arrest. But I am feeling better. Even though I yearn to hold that baby with the peach fuzz hair I know I will get that chance. My baby maker may be gone but my chance to continue to mother is not!

I LOVE grocery shopping

Well besides the fact that I get to spend money...really what girl doesn't:) Today I found the best deals...and even though I spent over my $110 budget for two weeks, yes we do...I included my other needs, laundry soap, pull ups, bleach and fabric softener...which I love!

Here are just a few of the great deals and can I brag on Publix for a bit...I LOVE THEM...they are great friendly and help me with my groceries...so on to the subject at hand...Publix is great for finding coupons hidden all over the store and I am a coupon shopper that is why I can spend $149 and save that much and more. So the deals were A-MAZ-ING today...starting with PG & E products such as, downy which I had a $1 store coupon and $1.25 manufacture coupon...combine them and I save $2.25 and it was on sale saving $1. Then tide which I love and it is my favorite but it is also my most expensive all the time purchase. Tide was on sale with the store coupon of $1 and my manufacturer coupon for $1.50 combined for $2.50 off...awesome! Then there was cascade...now I usually do the generic Target brand but it was on sale and with the $1 off coupon it was the same price as generic and then the kicker...because I bought these three things I got FREE bounty paper towels...that is only the beginning...I bought yogurt for 50 cents a four pack, chex snack mix for 70 cents for the 15 oz bag, nilla wafers were BOGO and they had coupons for $1 off each if you baught pudding or jello...well the discount section had jello for half price so, SCORE ME! I bought dove chocolate my fave for $1 a bag after my BOGO and coupon and nature valley granola bars for $1 after the sale with my coupons. Great thing about Publix is they accept competitors coupons which is great when Ben and Jerry's ice cream is on sale BOGO. Also if you belong to the Blue Bell club(free) every month they send you by email a coupon for $1 off and you can print them off twice per month...I think though my best deal today was Campbell Select soup BOGO and if you go to there website there is a $1 off coupon per can and you can print two again so each can of soup cost 18 cents and 19 cents...cool eh?! So that is it...I LOVE GROCERY SHOPPING!

FOURTH OF JULY...EXTENDED

These are only the first three days of our vacation which I extended twice...it was summer and a vacation.

The first day we tie dyed our fourth of July shirts, the second day was spent at Hunting Island State Park Beach with family. I should mention we stayed with my SIL and her family in Beaufort SC...we had a blast.

The third day was the FOURTH OF JULY and we went to Paris Island to watch the fire works which were amazing and the fun thing was they had games and bounces, face painting, tattoes and FREE FOOD for all. When we thought the fireworks were over there then became a fireworks feud with another Islands fireworks, so they went back and forth for several long minutes...maybe 30 minutes. So wonderful...we've already started planning for next year!

That's right, I did it...after seeing beautiful, wonderful blogs that had all these gadgets I finally figured out how to do it BY MYSELF because the computer guru I'm married to for almost 10 years( yes that's right just a few days shy of that milestone) told me I'd(meaning HE) have to research it...but I did...I Google'd what I wanted and there was a tutorial and so now my other blog which you can find here has most of what I want to add. I am still looking into adding paypal but that will have to wait for now. But at least now you can get most of the info you need there and so I leave it for tonight. But I DID IT! So don't complain if it's wrong. :)

As many of you know, Ryan's brother Chad is in the final stages of liver disease. Tomorrow the doctors will remove Chad's liver, and then take 2/3 of Ryan's liver and transplant it into Chad. An amazing medical procedure, but one that comes with serious risks. They will be going into surgery here in Denver early tomorrow morning. We can't thank you enough for your prayers, they mean the world to us. And we look forward to delivering a positive report.

Hello all. This is Shannon. Just thought I would update you as to how our days have transpired. Last night we all ate together then went to Chad's home to pray together laugh together and have communion. Ryan has really felt mostly peace, his demeanor really helps to keep me calm.

This morning we arrived at 5:30 AM. . . . I'll let that sink in. . . . AM, people. When we arrived at the hospital we waited. (ahem)
We've laughed, made a lot of lame liver jokes, had some touching moments. It's been good. There is a local media team here covering the story. I was a little apprehensive about this, however, they are so congenial, it's been nice to talk with them.

I accompanied Ryan to the pre-op where various people took turns with their torture techniques and I'm guessing took bets as to which one could scare us into bolting with their worse case scenario warnings. However, it's still a go :-)

Ryan has been in surgery for almost 2 hours, Chad just went in. Their surgery is timed so that 2 teams work separately, yet together.Thanks for your prayers

Hey everyone. I just got done reading all of your messages in the guestbook to Ryan. Wow. Overwhelming. Your words and kindness have been so special in a time like this. Thank you.

Ryan is doing well this morning. Groggy from the medicine but farely comfortable. Most of the pain he feels is in his shoulder which is referred pain from the diaphram, where (I believe) part of the liver was dissected from. Crazy. I guess it's the body's way of one-upping the epidural which is blocking the pain around his midsection.

Ryan is still in the ICU. But, we will be transferred to the main transplant floor soon. He was kept here as more of a precaution.

It's been a sweet time here, really an amazing thing. It's taken awhile for it all to sink in, Chad is functioning with Ryan's liver . . . almost doesn't seem real. I've had some ups and downs, I've been fortunate enough previous to this, that all of the chords and beeping and grogginess and surgery recovery situations is new, foreign and a little (ok alot) scary. Luckily I've avoided anyone having to witness the ugly cry. I know recovery will be a long road, and we watch their reactions, levels, and all of the machines carefully. I hope I'm a more sensitive person after this when someone else goes through tough times. Your messages and kindness, meals (Ade . . . no words) are a huge gift. Thanks.

Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse last night. Ryan went code blue and was resuscitated. He is now in critical condition.

We ask that you stand in faith and fight with us. Pray with authority in Jesus' name. Pray for healing and restoration of every cell in his body. Death can't have him.

Doctor's report came back with no brain activity. Seems that Ry has been in heaven, likely experiencing the glory of God, catching up with his uncle, his grandpa, his friend Jason's dad and little boy.

Life support hasn't been removed yet. We'd like him to come back to us, but we can't imagine the glory of where he's at.
I'll miss you, little bro. We love you so much. God, show us the path to guide our family through this. We covet your peace.

Ryan was a Godly man, a loving husband, an amazing father and a great friend. Our prayer is that his life and his story of selfless love will be a testimony to many, now and in the years to come.

Our family is touched by the love, scripture and encouragement you all have poured out to us over the past few days. Thank you for overwhelming us with support and lifting our arms when we've had no strength. We are deeply touched.

Please share Ryan's story for us. We want his legacy to live on.

This reminds me of another man who loved his family so much that he sacrificed it all...knowing for him the consequences were death. Jesus Christ was his name and because of him and his sacrifice I know that Ryan is once again smiling and with family. Even though Ryan didn't know this would be the outcome, he loved his family so much that it was the chance he was willing to take to save his brother.
What a ache I have knowing that Shannon, Ryan's wife has to start this road ahead raiseing three young boys by herself...she is a strong woman and will succeed with the help of her family, friends and Heavenly father and Jesus Christ.

Ryan and I were friends, not best and we didn't hang out together but friends like many of the friends I had in high school. What I remember most is his beautiful smile. I will always remember that smile.Chad and Ryan

So here it is and only 12 more days til school starts for my kiddos...I will have two in school and I don't want them to go back...this is the first summer ever that I have been loving this time with my children. They have been good for the most part not much complaining and C has really grown up this summer...he is so ready for Kindergarten. Then I only have G home but I will be busy because I have been guilt-ed into PTA again and really I love it but the computer work and since I am in charge of membership that is all computers. crazy right? Also I am trying to complete a home renovation so I will love it and then sell it to someone else who loves it...sounds silly right? I know, but there are other reasons and not willing to go into it all. We've had a lovely summer and I just wanted you to know...really I'd home school if I thought some young miss would listen to me and I not be too scared that this is the year she will pass me in her math skills. Sorry it has been awhile since my last post and the coming post will have pictures from this summers wonderful adventures...R has to upload the pics...it's a computer thing...I know I don't even text!

(I just checked this and it is $3.17 for 96in which is enough to make four projects, so divide by 4 and it equals $.79 per project for wood which changes our total!)
grand total...$5.13 IF you had to buy everything to make this...

Also if you'd like to make this I am having a class at my house...June 24th at 6PM...it will cost $5 IN ADVANCE...also if you want to make it yourself the list of materials is above and vinyl is $3.50 or I can make it for you for $10.

I watched this movie last night about John Keats the poet and I loved it. I love tragic romances. If you get a chance to rent it or watch it on instant Que netflix do, I recommend it! AND it was only PG!
